We made it to the studs. The last bit of mortar and the really sharp metal backing came off the wall without too much problem. You can see it rolled up standing against the mirror. All that’s left is to repeat the process on the remaining walls.

The dust from banging this stuff is pretty bad. We put up plastic to keep it in the bathroom. Ivy is using a dustmask so she can breath. Carting the stuff out is a real workout. It is all very heavy. Once the tile is gone, we have to attack that old cast iron tub with the big hammer. That will be interesting.
