I got a preview copy of the article and artwork for what began as "Penetration Testing and the Emporer’s New Clothes".  It is now "The IT Chief’s New Clothes". Same thrust – pen testing is usually a waste of resources – but cut back by 50% or so. The layout looks great. I think they’ve done a good job with it. It will go out next month for FedTech Magazine.

My article "Are You Predator or Prey?" will be in the September issue of Ultimate Grappling Magazine. It turned out pretty good, but I haven’t seen the layout yet.

We are still waiting on the shower pan. It will probably be here on Monday. We pulled out the old drain pipes yesterday. They were 90% blocked with hair and gunk. 50 yrs of nasty stuck in a cool damp place, yuck. I’m gonna bring in a plumber to install the new ones. I just don’t want to mess that up.
