I made it down to Florida for the tournaments last weekend. Things went well there. I got to see a lot of my judo buddies. I have some pictures from there to load, but can’t load them here until Ivy brings the camera to the hospital.

Yeah, I made it back from Fla and spent about two minutes at home before heading to the Dr. who sent me to the hospital. I scraped up a shin rescuing a neighbor’s dog from Mischief the other day. Turns out that the infection is a pretty nasty Staph thing that is resistant to some of the drugs. They have me on IV antibiotics now. I may end up here for another day, we’ll have to see.

At least they have WiFi for patients here. Plus, I don’t have a roomate. They just keep the door shut and pretend I’m not here, mostly. That’s about perfect for me. Here is a phone camera self portrait.
