We went back to Crowder’s on Sat and had a great day on the rock with Tom and Monica, and Jack and Carrie. Carrie didn’t climb – she is still recovering from the last time she tried climbing. She will give it a go in the gym before trying to climb outside again.

Ivy lead a steep little climb on the end of Red Wall. She marched confidently right up the climb. When I went up, I was surprised to find it pretty difficult. She was so solid on so much of it that it looked very simple.

I’m starting to feel pretty comfortable on the rock again. It is time to start leading some more and climb on some harder stuff. I would like to get on Whitsides sometime before too long.
