We got the vent from the stove to the attic now. All I need now is a couple of days of nice weather so I can replace the roof vent. Judging from the sound of thunder and hail outside – it ain’t gonna be today. I smacked the heck out of my head while I was crawling around the attic. I ended up with a pretty good knot on top of my pointy head.
You can see the box I built to hide the vent over the cabinets above the microwave in this picture.
The crown moulding is up and finished.We have a bit of electrical work to do (switches not matching, etc.) the framing around the entryway to the family room, and the trim and touch up painting. The end is near!
