We got the house up on the market on Wednesday! The market here is not great, but not a abysmal as it is everywhere else. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

We spent the last few weeks taking care of details. I spent a whole weekend installing a HVAC vent into the basement office. The vent install wasn't that hard, but putting in the drop ceiling around it was a real pain. But now we have a big finished section of the basement – that means more value to the house.

We also spent a lot of time and effort painting and finishing up the basement. Let's just say that painting concrete floors is now on my list of things not to do again.

That aside, we ended up with a decent looking game room downstairs.

The place has been a lot of work over the last two years – full rebuilds of three bathrooms and the kitchen, finishing out a bunch of the basement, plus a ton of landscaping and general clean up. We sure hope it pays off in the end – and soon!
