Wow! What a great Christmas weekend. Family visited on Friday. We had the whole clan here for the day. Sophia got to meet her cousin (2nd cousin?) who was here with George. Missy was also here from Dallas, although Steve didn't make it in to town until later. My Dad was here performing quality control inspections on the food, and Mom was busy keeping him in line. Selene and Leo were here with the little ones. I'm sure they had a long day as they went to visit his family after things wound down at our place. We had a full happy house. Ivy had tons of fun playing with Sophie and got some happy time with not so little Julian.

Fortunately, there was enough pecan pie and fresh made caramel rolls to ward off starvation. As a bonus, no one had quite so much pecan pie or so many caramel rolls that we had to widen a door to send them down the road. I do need some extra time in the gym to avoid starting that fateful slide to winning the Jabba the Hut lookalike contest.

 
We went climbing at E-Rock on a sunny warm Christmas day with a good friend. We are sure glad to be here in the nice weather. The reports of snow from Georgia to Maine looked pretty, but things like that are best enjoyed through pictures. Brrrr. We miss the climbing in North Carolina, but we are pretty sure no one was at Shortoff or Table Rock climbing in a t-shirt this Christmas.
