So once again Stan and I have fallen into that space of either having too much or too little to write about and have let a year go by with no posts. We are going to try to slowly catch up on the highs and lows of the last year.
The last post was May 2019 and Stan had just bought me a chainsaw. He quipped that he hadn't given me a reason to use it on him and I am thrilled to say that is still true. Any cuts, bruises or damage he has sustained is of his own doing and not mine.
Last July/August time frame we began to get regular visits from a sweet feral kitten. She is a black and white cutie (I named her Tuxedo) You know you're in trouble when you give them a name and within a week she had my heart'
Two week in, Stan was smitten and she became part of our family. We took 3 weeks letting her and Marina get to know each other by scent and sight but separate until Tuxedo was cleared by the vets. She has been she a fun addition but Marina is still not pleased with the new family member. We had hoped for buddies and Tuxedo tries but Marina is not having it. They don't fight and for a while they were playing a bit. We were encouraged but then Marina got sick and spent a few days at the vets and since her return she is grumpier than ever.
I think that's a good start on recapping. More to come soon.
